Finding your way around
The sidebar, the command palette, who sees what, and the small things in the app chrome that save time.
Everything in Svay hangs off the sidebar on the left. This page is a map of it. Which items you see depends on your role.
The sidebar

At the bottom of the sidebar:
- Credits shows your workspace’s balance. It turns amber when the balance gets low, and pressing it opens Credits & billing. See Credits and billing.
- Your account menu holds Settings, Workspace Admin (owners only) and Sign out. When you belong to two or more workspaces it also lists them, with Switch workspace and Create workspace. With only one workspace, that part of the menu is hidden.
The sidebar can be collapsed to icons. On a phone it becomes a drawer behind the menu button.
The command palette
Section titled “The command palette”Press ⌘ K on a Mac or Ctrl K on Windows and Linux, anywhere in the app, to open the command palette. Type to jump to any page or start a common action:
- Ask Svay…
- New video and New email campaign (editors and owners)
- Schedule a post
- Any sidebar destination you have access to, plus Settings
- Workspace Admin (owners)
Press Esc to close it.
Tours and the checklist
Section titled “Tours and the checklist”The first time you open each of the main pages, a short tour points out what is where. Skip tour turns all page tours off. To see them again, go to Settings → Product tour → Replay product tour.
On Home, a Getting started checklist tracks eight first steps: meeting svay, sending your first instruction, adding company knowledge, opening Creative Space, connecting a publishing channel, generating content, reviewing it and scheduling it. Press Hide checklist to dismiss it.
Light and dark
Section titled “Light and dark”Go to Settings → Appearance and choose Light, Dark or System. The choice is remembered per browser. The sign-in and sign-up screens are always light.
I cannot see a page
Section titled “I cannot see a page”If an item from the table is missing from your sidebar, your role does not include it. Creative Space, Email, Ads and Context need the editor role. Ask a workspace owner to change your role from Workspace Admin.
