Meetings

Meetings sends a Svay notetaker into your video calls. It listens, takes notes and, when the call ends, gives you a summary, the transcript and ideas to turn into marketing work. The transcript is also saved to Context, so Svay remembers what was said.

The notetaker is switched on per workspace by Svay, and meeting time is part of the Pro and Enterprise plans. If you see The notetaker isn’t switched on here, ask us to enable it. See contact support.

Add a meeting

1. Open Meetings from the sidebar and press Add a meeting.
2. Paste the meeting link (for example https://meet.google.com/...) and press Enter.
3. The notetaker joins the call. The list shows it while the meeting is in progress and refreshes itself about every 15 seconds.

Adding a meeting needs the editor or owner role.

To end it early, open the meeting and press Remove Svay, then confirm. Svay leaves the call straight away and stops listening. Notes from before it left are kept.

Tell people on the call

The Svay app does not show a recording notice to participants. Always tell everyone that a notetaker is joining, and follow the recording rules that apply to you.

What you get back

Open any meeting for two tabs:

• Summary: an Overview (where and how long), What happened, Decisions, Action items and Worth remembering. Svay writes it automatically once the transcript is ready. If it fails, press Try again.
• Transcript: the full text.

The summary page also has Turn this meeting into marketing work, with Decisions to carry forward and Ideas and insights that you can turn into content.

Use the search box to find a past meeting.

Allowance and credits

Meetings use no credits. Time on calls is counted against your plan’s monthly meeting allowance. The Pro plan includes 5 hours per month, Enterprise has no monthly limit, and Growth does not include meetings. See Credits and billing.

Troubleshooting

I do not see Add a meeting. The notetaker is not switched on for your workspace. Ask Svay to enable it.

“Could not send Svay.” Check that the link is a valid meeting link and try again.

There is no summary. Press Try again on the Summary tab. A meeting with no transcript cannot be summarised.
