Measure and engage
Performance
How your published posts did, where the numbers come from, and how to rate a post.
Performance shows how published work did. Everyone in the workspace can open it. It has two tabs: Overview and Posts.
Where the numbers come from
Section titled “Where the numbers come from”Svay reads results back from the platforms after you publish. You do not type numbers in.
| Platform | Results |
|---|---|
| Read back: impressions, reactions, comments and shares. Saves and sends appear only for personal profiles, and clicks only for company pages. LinkedIn counts about once a day. | |
| TikTok | Read back: views, likes, comments, shares and saves. |
| Instagram and Facebook | Read back through Meta’s reporting, synced daily. |
| X | Not measured. X does not share results with connected apps. Posts show as unavailable, never as zero. |
| YouTube | Not measured yet. YouTube results do not appear on Performance. |
For posts published through Svay to LinkedIn and TikTok, Svay re-reads results about hourly during the first two days (or until numbers appear), then about once a day, for up to 30 days. Instagram and Facebook are read once a day for the whole account, including posts made outside Svay. A new post can show partial or empty numbers at first: platforms process results asynchronously, and a blank is not a poor result.
Each platform reports in its own unit (impressions, views, people reached), so Svay does not compare one platform’s views with another’s impressions. Compare the rate, not the raw count.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”A scorecard for your content:
- Reach, labelled Impressions, Reach or Total views depending on the platform.
- Engagement rate, which needs both reach and reactions to be calculated.
- Published posts, and Pipeline reliability: of your recent generation runs that finished, the share that succeeded (cancelled runs count as not completed). It measures Svay, not your audience.
- A chart of reach by publish date, an Engagement mix of where reactions come from, Where you publish by platform, and a Platform performance table.
- What to make more of: Lean into and Avoid lists plus Recommendations. These fill in as you rate posts.
The All projects selector scopes the Overview to one project.
Every post, whether Svay made it or not.
- All posts and Made by Svay filter by origin. Posts are tagged Made by Svay or From your account.
- Sort by Reach, Engagement or Newest.
- Select a post to expand its metrics (impressions, people reached, views, reactions, comments, shares, saves, clicks). Where a platform reports a retention curve, it appears on the post. For posts Svay made, Open video goes to the run.
Rate a post
Section titled “Rate a post”Rating needs the editor or owner role.
- Open a post on the Posts tab.
- Under Your rating, choose Good, Neutral or Needs work.
- In What worked or didn’t?, write a short reason (up to 280 characters), then press Save note.
The note field says it “Feeds the agent’s learning memory for the next brief”, so it is read back when Svay plans later work. A one-line reason, such as “the hook was too slow” or “the contrarian angle landed”, gives it more to work with than the rating alone.
Not available yet
Section titled “Not available yet”- Date ranges. The page shows a fixed Last 30 days label, not a picker.
- Best time to post insights.
- Entering metrics by hand. Svay reads results back automatically; you only add a rating and a note.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”A metric is blank or zero. The platform may not have reported yet, or may not share that metric. Wait a day for LinkedIn and Meta, and check that the account is still connected under Integrations.
There are no numbers for an X post. X does not share them.
“Performance service unavailable.” Press Retry. If it persists, contact support.
I cannot save a rating. Rating needs the editor or owner role.
