Glossary

Plain-language definitions of the terms used across Svay and these docs.

Approval. A person clearing finished work. It is a record, not a trigger: publishing is a separate step.

Avatar. The on-screen presenter in a talking-head video. Made from a photo. See Presenters.

Brand. The identity a workspace represents: its Context, colours, fonts and presenter. One workspace holds one brand.

Brand identity. Your generated visual system: palette, fonts and style. See Brand identity.

Brief. What you ask svay for, in plain language.

Cleaned. An email contact whose address hard-bounced. Never mailed again.

Context. Everything Svay knows about your brand. Every output is written from it. See Context.

Correction. A specific fact you teach Svay when it gets something wrong. It carries the strongest weight of anything you write.

Credits. What videos and images cost. See Credits and billing.

Creative set. A group of image frames made together, such as a carousel.

Double opt-in. A sign-up that only counts once the person clicks a confirmation link.

Editor. A role that can create, approve and publish. See Team and roles.

Hold. Credits reserved for a video while it is made. Charged on delivery, released on failure.

Library. Everything made, plus your mood board and brand assets. See Library.

Mood board. Reference images that steer new designs.

Owner. The highest role: members, billing and workspace settings.

Presenter. An avatar and a voice.

Run. One video being made. See Runs.

Segment. A saved rule that picks out email contacts.

Shot change. Asking svay to change one shot of a finished video.

svay. The assistant you talk to throughout the product. See Home and svay.

Viewer. A read-only role.

Workspace. An account: its people, brand, connections, content, credits and subscription. See Workspaces.
