Inbox and weekly plan
Approve the content svay plans for you each week, answer its questions, and set how much it can do on its own.
- Enabled per workspace
The Inbox is where work waits for your decision. A number beside Inbox in the sidebar shows how many items are waiting. Everyone can open it; deciding needs the editor or owner role.
It holds two kinds of item:
- Weekly plan items. Svay plans a week of content, writes it, and lands each piece in your Inbox.
- Svay’s questions. Things svay asks you to approve before it acts, such as boosting a post. These appear under Svay is asking.
How the weekly plan works
Section titled “How the weekly plan works”- Svay plans. Each Thursday it plans next week’s content: by default 5 pieces, with a budget of $8.00 for the week.
- Svay writes. Text and images are generated for real, so you can judge them. Videos are only proposed: the video is not made until you approve it.
- You decide. Each piece lands in your Inbox.
Decide on an item
Section titled “Decide on an item”| Action | What it does |

| Approve and schedule | Text is published or scheduled, an image set is scheduled, and a video starts rendering. A finished video comes back for a second approval before it is published. After a failure the button reads Try again. |
| Revise | Type what to change (“shorter and punchier”, “lead with the number”), then press Enter or Send to svay. Svay rewrites it: “Revised — read it over before approving”. Only an item still waiting for approval can be revised. |
| Decline | Choose Decline with this reason after typing one, or Decline without a reason. |
| Stop this post | Pulls a scheduled item back into your Inbox as a draft: “Stopped — it will not go out. It is back in your inbox as a draft.” |
If an item needs a platform that is not connected, approving fails with “no active (platform) account is connected for this brand”. Connect it on Integrations and approve again. Items that failed to publish or render can be retried by approving again.

How much svay does on its own
Section titled “How much svay does on its own”Autonomy sets how the weekly plan behaves. Everyone can open it; only owners can change it.

By default svay only proposes, and everything waits for you. At the higher autonomy level, confident text posts are scheduled automatically after the veto window, and you can stop any of them from the Inbox. Images and videos always wait for you, and a video needs you at both approvals.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”My Inbox is empty. The weekly plan may not be switched on, or the next plan has not run yet. It opens each Thursday.
“That request has already been decided or has expired.” Someone else handled one of svay’s questions, or it timed out. Refresh the Inbox.
A Slack link opens my Inbox. That is intended: approval links from Slack take you to the item here.
Approve failed with a connection message. Connect the missing platform on Integrations.
